A Massachusetts native, Reed has been a member of the IT leadership team for some of the most successful Boston-area technology companies of the last 35 years, including Corporate Software/Stream International/Microsoft, PictureTel/Polycom, and Iona Technologies/Progress Software. Most recently Reed was Vice President of IT for Zeal Technology, a provider of SaaS-based employee engagement services.

 

An expert on data center and cloud services and a certified security analyst, Reed holds dual degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science from Merrimack College, and a Masters degree (LLM) in Business and Contract Law from the Northeastern University School of Law. Reed is the author of two books on computer technology, and is a co-signatory on multiple patents related to robotic video camera technology and portable video conferencing.

 

Born and raised in the woods of rural northern Massachusetts, Reed and his family divide their summer months between day sailing off of Cape Cod and hiking the White Mountains of New Hampshire.
